For more than 80 years, the North Carolina Division of Veterans Affairs (NCDVA) has been a strong advocate for veterans and their families offering assistance through a network of District and County Veterans Service Offices at no charge to the citizen. NCDVA assist veterans and their families in the presentation, processing, proof and establishment of claims, privileges, rights and benefits as they may be entitled to under Federal, State or local laws. This division provides skilled level nursing care and provides burial plots to qualified veterans of North Carolina. NCDVA also offers a scholarship program for children of North Carolina disabled, combat or deceased war veterans.
